Oral Presentations

Oral presentations are divided into three categories: contributed, invited and plenary. Speakers giving contributed talks are to plan for a 15-minute presentation, while those giving invited talks should plan for a 20-minute presentation. Plenary speakers should plan for a 25-minute presentation. Each speaker will be granted additional time for questions and answers.

Please cooperate with the Session Chair in limiting your presentation to the time indicated in the program as many attendees schedule their attendance at various sessions in accordance with the time schedule.

An overhead projector, laptop computer, LCD projector, and laser pointer will be available throughout the meeting. Presentations may be uploaded, via flash drive, CD or DVD mornings prior to the first sessions or during breaks immediately preceding a given session. Please ensure that your talk has been loaded onto the laptop prior to being introduced by the Chair. (If you fail to preload your talk, Session Chairs will take time spent loading files out of your allocated time.)

Poster Presentations

Depending upon the number of abstracts accepted, there will be 2-3 poster sessions during the 18th TOFE. These will be held in the India Suite during 1.5-2.0 hour blocks. Because the India Suite will be used for parallel sessions prior to posters, an extended break will be held just before the poster sessions. This break will enable presenters to mount their posters.

Poster boards will be 5’ wide and 6’ tall. Push pins will be provided for poster mounting.

Poster boards will be marked with an identification number that can be matched to those listed in the book of abstracts. Please mount posters on the matching board.
